This double-bitted axe was found in MacDonald County, Missouri. At 3.5 in/ 89 mm it is shorter than most finds. 5 oz by weight. It has the bowtie configuration, heavy waisted. One side is pressure flaked while the other end is percussion flaked. This piece confirms that double-bitted stones are from the Ozarks area. From the Bracken collection.
