A stoneware jug from the Douglass Clay Product Company of Los Angeles, California. The company, which was previously called the Los Angeles Stoneware and Sewer Pipe Company, was incorporated under the Douglass name in 1907 and bought by the Pacific Sewer Pipe Company in 1910, dating the jug to this 4-year span. It bears the logo of the Douglass company on the side and retains its original lid and wooden handle, though this handle is extremely worn with age. Approx. 17" tall and 12" in diameter. Some chipping around edge; overall in good condition. See photos.
