His claims were contested by Edison and the Bell Telephone Company, which won a court decision in 1888. 1) No. 215, issued for 10 shares to Isaac Solis in Philadelphia in 1884. Signed by trustee Kimball for president Stephen A. Caldwell. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Folds, tape repairs, toning. 2) No. 60, issued for 9 shares to Louis K. Lieberstein on May 17th, 1894 in New York. Signed by president J. Baretitt, secretary Fisher, and treasurer Andrews. Not cancelled. Black border and print, gold seal, and portrait vignette of inventor Daniel Drawbaugh. Folds, creases.
