Lot of two different stocks both issued in 1923. Not cancelled. Orange or brown borders, allegorical vignette. Duesenberg Automobile & Motors Company, founded in 1913 by brothers Fred and August Duesenberg, became renowned for engineering some of the most advanced and luxurious American cars of the early 20th century. The company gained fame for its high-performance engines, racing victories‚-including Indianapolis 500 wins‚-and later for the opulent Model J, introduced under new owner E.L. Cord in 1928. Despite its engineering brilliance, the Great Depression devastated sales, and the company ceased production by 1937, leaving behind a legendary legacy of speed and luxury.
