Inc. in Colorado. No. 25, issued for 5,000 shares to president WJ Hammonds on August 29th, 1882 in Pittsburgh. Signed by president Hammond and treasurer McKay. Not cancelled. Attractive design with ornate black border and print, plus two vignettes: mine hoisting scene (left side) and horses next to shield (center). Printed by the Armor Lith. Co., Pittsburgh. Folds, creased top left corner, small light foxing top border. Overall very nice. The company had offices in Pittsburgh and Silverton. Milling 34 percent lead and 39 ounces of silver per ton. One level is 300 ft plus one shaft 50 ft. deep. [Corregan & Lingane, 1883, pg. 698]
