Lot of 3. 1) Prescription slip for W.A. Brown, Lessee Eagle Drug Store. November 16, 1894. Large spindle hole, folds, rough edges. 2) 1910-11 calendar booklet, 4.5 x 3", distributed as advertising by the Eagle Drug Co. (full ad on back cover). 3) The Family Year Book, Vol. 1, No. 1, Compliments of the Rexall Store, Eagle Drug Co. Inc., Winnemucca, Nevada. No date but looks c.1920s. 31pp., advertising Rexall products. 8 x 4.5" Toning, rips, other wear. The Eagle Drug Co. was opened in 1882 by physician T.C. Hanson. In the 1880s, it was one of only two drug stores in Winnemucca. He leased the store to W.A. Brown in 1894, who eventually bought it. It was then known as the Eagle Drug & Jewelry Co., then the Eagle Drug Co. Inc. (1910), and finally the Eagle Drug Co. of Nevada (1920s).
