One of only two or three known. 1903. Rarity-10. Excellent strike. Cover has a cc of 'Edw. Brown, Douglass, Esmeralda, Nevada'. Edwin Brown was "among the well and favorably known mining men in Nevada". Written to JH Miller. Short biographies of JH Miller and Brown. Letterhead from Miller as merchant. Letter is arguing tax assessments on Davidson and Curtis properties (mining?). Datelined Douglass. Nevada Board of Commissioners paper about the additional fees ($950.00) included that Brown is complaining about is also included.
