Very early Arizona Territory handwritten letter addressed to the San Bernardino Ranch owned at this time by Ignacio Perez and his family, who were chased out of the Apaches (Cochise was Chief from 1866-1872). When they were nota allowed to return, famed lawman John Slaughter and hi wife purchased the ranch. Letter is in readable condition. Please see photos for more details.
