Lot of 5: 1) A blank copy of an Attachment for Defaulting from the District Court, Third Judicial District of Esmeralda County. Other than one fold crease, the document is in excellent condition. 2) A 2.5" x 3.5" CDV of Aurora resident Ada Stewart, taken by local photographer H.K. Gage aroung 1882. Piece is in very good condition. 3) Another CDV, a head shot of unknown woman, also by Gage, taken around the same time. This photo is also in very nice condition. 4) This is a handwritten letter, dated 13 May 1870 and is from H.P. Colby to her friend Miss E.H. Wheeler. An excerpt from the letter reads, "I am well, but tired of the saddle, for I have been in it every day from morning till night." Although showing crease marks from folds, the letter is in very good condition with still sharp lettering. 5) A 1946 article from Nevada Magazine telling about the vigilante justice meted out in Aurora, during the mining days.
