Taken from Black Hawk. One can truly see the relationship of a mine to its city in this view. There are residences and business to the bottom, top, and right of this mine. There are no buildings to the left, that is reserved for the mountain. Central City, at this point, was truly a one road town in the steep valley, Buildings can be seen o the hillside once the canyon is cleared. Great historic photo! 7 x 4 1/2". Nice photo. One small black mark and one small scratch.
