This is a lot of 5 RPCs featuring a look back at Fremont Street in the early 1950s. 1) Possibly the oldest post card in the group, it looks to be dated c1930 or earlier. Absent from this street scene are any advertisements of casinos or gaming. Instead, we see storefront signs for ice cream, Western Union, hardware and drug stores. The photograph was taken by Frasher’s Inc. in Pomona, CA. The focus is clear and contrast is medium. The post card has only a few marks, but in overall fine condition. 2) &3) are views of looking west on Fremont Street. Several signs can be seen in these views including; S.S. Rex Club, Hotel Apache, Boulder Club and the Pioneer Club (long before Vegas Vic!). The post cards were produced by Frashers Fotos and sold by the Desert Souvenir Supply, in Boulder City. Both post cards have sharp focus and medium contrast, although one has slight fading. 4) Looking east on Fremont Street. Signs for the Overland Hotel, Monte Carlo and the Pioneer can be seen. It was produced by Frashers Fotos and has medium contrast and sharp focus. 5) Fremont Street looking west. Signs for businesses including Western Union, dentist and beauty parlors can be seen next to the Boulder Club. There is no photographer identified. There is some wear on the post card, mostly on the bottom half.City: Las VegasCounty: Clark CountyState: NVDate: c1930-1950
