Prospectus: Leadville Leader MC Prospectus, incorporated CO 1915. W.H. Covey and president and GM. A 4 page prospectus with two illustrations of the buildings and mine site. The prospectus states that there are three shafts, down 225', 220', and 500'. There is approximately 100,000 tone of mill ore which should average $8.00 per ton. The property is located in the center of the Leadville post office. Enclosed with the prospectus is a form letter from A.R. Bickerstaff, exclusive agent recommending purchase of stocks at $100 per share. 8.5x11". Slight tears at margin where folded. _x000D_

The first gold mining boom occurred in 1860, bringing approximately 10,000 miners to the area. The second boom began in 1878 with the discovery of extensive silver deposits.
