8 total postal covers out of New Mexico. Includes double ring postmark from Chaves, Merchant- Belen, NM 1887 to Caliente with blue oval corner advertising and 2-cent red brown stamp. Has light cover toning and small gash at top. Corner advertising cover from the Cattle Sanitary Board in Albuquerque, 1894, to Kansas City, MO. with a commemorative 2-cent Landing of Columbus stamp. Has tears at front right edge, however is still legible and has a purple double ring received stamp on reverse. Blue cover with violet target Type 2- faint postmark out of Abiquiu and received in New Haven, CT. stamp on reverse. A fantastic cover postmarked Barney, NM 1899 (Union 1896-1930) Type 1 to New York franked with an 8-cent violet brown stamp with magenta grid cancels, small cover tear at top left and very minor staining on front. Also contains a very early cover from Albuquerque to Austria, Europe 1887 with 2 postmarks on front cover and received stamps on reverse. Please see all photos for these amazing covers.
