1826 document from Ohio's Portage County Court of Common Pleas petitioning for the partition of a plot of land owned by two men, Abraham Grammer and William Ely. The plot in question is part of the original Connecticut Western Reserve, a stretch of land that would later become the northeastern region of modern Ohio. Also included is a note listing the court fees incurred by the petition. An interesting piece of early Ohio history.
