Darlington was located in the region later to be included in Oklahoma Territory. It was the site of the Cheyenne and Arapahoe Agency. Established in 1870 by Brinton Darlington, the agency was on the banks of the North Canadian River. This 4 x 2 1/2 inch postal cover is dated 10-8-73, with green 3 cent stamp upper left. Addressed to Miss Helen Parmelee of Winfield Kansas.
