3 stock certificates from the Goodyear's Metallic Rubber Shoe Company, dated 1859 to 1884. The certificates are all issued and signed by secretary and treasurer, though a few signatures are extremely faded or damaged. One is cancelled using a stamp cancellation. The stocks are in varying condition, with some being heavily torn; see photos. The Goodyear company, which was based in Naugatuck, CT, had a patent for producing shoes and boots out of vulcanized rubber.
