A pair of early hunting guide books. First, we have "The Complete American & Canadian Sportsman's Encyclopedia of Valuable Instruction" by Buzzacott. This book claims to have 512 illustrations (I didn't count them). Book has spine and bindery issues with some page separation, fly pages intact, nice plates, but boards are scuffed and bumped.
Next, "Wrinkles or Hints to Sportsmen and Travellers (sic)" by The Old Shekarry c1874.
Book features tips for hunting, campfires, shooting and fishing, illustrated in text and plates.
Book is in nice condition, with nicely embossed boards, with slight scuffing, intact fly pages and an all around tight spine and binding. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
