The Maryland Mining Company is a historic coal mining, iron producer and railroad company operating in Allegheny County, Maryland. The Company was based as the Eckhart Mines at Braddock Run. It was among the first bituminous coal mines in the Georges creek Valley. In 1846 they completed a railroad from Eckhart to WIlls Creek.
