This specimen mount box 12 in. X 16 in. contains 21 points and tools. This is a unique collection of early projectile points mostly from the Pinto series period 3500-4500 yrs. ago. There are several spectacular projectile points from the Desert period in chert, obsidian and Dosa Wei. The center attraction is the rectangular knife piece that is 3 in. long. A wood needle is included as well as a wood tool or atl-atl that has been painted or stained that deserves further research. Obsidian, red chert, white quartz, dosa wei are represented here.
