It was 700 linear feet in the Virginia District between the Pioneer mine, the Mountain View and North Milton. Teegarden located the Teegarden claim in March of 1879. It was 1000 feet in the Flowery District. It was a relocation of part of the Yankee Jim. On August 1, 1879 Thomas T Teegarden filed a notice of location on the Guadalupe lode on the east by the Rocky Bar, west by the Scorpion and formerly known as the Silver Wedge. (This is most likely the East bonanza.) He was still looking for the pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow.) Incorporated August 2, 1879. Issued Virginia, Nev. 1879. Location Storey County, Nev.
