Collection of about twenty pieces of letters, papers, boxes from the Easton trunk, conserved by the Northeast Document Conservation Service in Andover. In this group are pieces of a long light cardboard box with a blue cover. A letter is also here in part, addressed to Mrs. R.P. Bates at Jamaica, NY, along with part of another letter to Dr. J Filxxx (?) of Pern Yan, NY. One partial wrapping has a red partial wax seal with a coin impression. It is unknown if these were friends of the Eastons, or if the letters were being delivered on others behalf. Another note involves J. Elmendorf, who ran a boarding school in New York. It is unknown what Easton's connection was with this man or school.
