Lot of 2 different. 1) Edison Storage Battery Company stock issued in 1916 and signed by Thomas Edison as president. Punch cancelled signature. Transferred to Thomas Edison on reverse. This company was organized in New Jersey on May 27, 1901, to develop, manufacture, and sell Edison's alkaline storage battery. It produced batteries for mining lamps, train lighting and signaling, submarines, electric vehicles, and more. 2) Edison-Splitdorf Corporation stock issued in 1947. Facsimile signature of Charles Edison (Thomas Edison's son) as president. The Edison-Splitdorf Corporation was a company formed in 1929 when Thomas A. Edison, Inc. purchased the near-bankrupt Splitdorf Radio Corporation. The company was headed by Charles Edison, son of Thomas Edison, and initially focused on entering the radio market, with the first Edison-Splitdorf radios being introduced around March 1929. It also continued Splitdorf's legacy of producing other electrical products, such as magnetos, spark plugs, and lighting systems.
