This lot is a 3-inch diameter bronze medallion in recognition of Dwight D. Eisenhower's inauguration in 1953. The obverse has a portrait of the 34th U.S. President on obverse and INAUGURATED PRESIDENT / UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / JANUARY 20, 1953 and an image of Lady Liberty on reverse. The surface of both sides is oxidized. The United States Mint and Medallic Art Company both made inaugural medals for Eisenhower. This medal has no engraving on the edge, and is therefore not the design from Medallic Art Company. State: City: Date: 1955
