This war shirt is beaded on both sides and is made by Elmira Copeland, from the Paiute tribe here in Nevada,expressly for Morris (Moe) Royels. This is an original shirt made of Elk Hide. Bead work feature feathers of white & black beads, and a design under the feathers of half-diamonds of blue, white, yellow, orange, red & black (Fiery colors. On the back of this shirt is a black & white beaded eagle with feathers of white & black with horse hair fringe hanging from the base of feathers.) Small portions of elk hide is coming apart (very minor condition) on left shoulder due to age. Please inspect. From the Historic Wigwam Collection of Moe & Mary's Wigwam, of Fernley, Nevada.
