Brown border with vignette of miners hoisting ore bucket. Folds, very fine. 6.75 x 9.75" Location printed on certificate: Clear Creek Co., Colorado. Owned the John L. Emerson, Asteroid, John L. Extension, Lucia, Bessie, Emma Colwell, Ralph Waldo and John Louville lodes within the Virginia District near Idaho Springs. The ore contained gold and silver that ran 1-3 oz/ton gold and 50 oz/ton silver. The Emerson had developed by 375 feet of drifts and a 225' shaft. The other claims had considerable work as well.
