Very early Bodie. Although the corporation formed in New York, the mine was in Bodie, CA. Gray colored ornate bond with a black border. $1,000 gold coin. Bond No. 210. Three vignettes: miners working underground, miners working above ground, and Columbia with a shield. Fourteen coupons attached, all signed by H. K. Gates. The bond paid seven per cent per annum, payable in two payments in May and November. Signed by Henry K. Gates, Secretary, Alonzo Child, President, John P. Yelverton and David B. Turner, Trustees.
