Lot of twelve. 1) Alpha. August 28, 1879. Early. Rare six cent entire to Italy. Star in circle cancel. Blue. Almost surely written by a coal burner from Italy. 2) Palisade, 1902. To Theodore Clark with bio. 3) Tonkin 1909. Sent to Damele with bio. 4) Romano 1913. 5) Beowawe 1885. Addressed to Desert Crystal Salt Work, White Pains, C. P. R. R. 6) Prospect 1911. 7) Dunphy 1920. History of Dunphy and interesting bio on Mr. Dunphy. 8) Birch 1921. Notes on Birch and recipient William Cox. 9) 1893. Nearly perfect Eureka strike, Fancy cancel on reverse. Peter Breen biography (V&T brakeman, lawyer, defended the International Workers of the World in their Tonopah Strike). 10) 1874, good strike, addressed from AC Ellis of Carson City. 11) 1877. Eureka strike. Very Interesting letter from Judges Chambers of Henry Rivas, White Pine County, Hamilton. Hamilton is crossed out and Eureka handwritten. Eureka County obviously had been combined with White Pine County at that time. Sent to F Huffaker. Biographies on Huffaker and Rivas. 12) 1903. cc from FJ Brossemer of Eureka. Sent to Howard Mulcahy. Interesting Mulcahy bio. City:Eureka Co. State:Nevada Date:1875-1920
