Folds, creases, 1 inch tear, some toning. 9 x 12" The Eureka & Palisade Railroad was a narrow gauge railroad built from 1873-1875 between Palisade and Eureka, NV, about 85 miles. Railroad built to connect Eureka, the center of a rich silver mining area, with Palisade which connected the national railway network. Due to financial concerns and reorganizations railroad became "Eureka and Palisade Railway" and then "Eureka Nevada Railway." The rails and rolling stock of the last surviving narrow gauge railroad in Nevada were removed in 1938.
