Museum letter discussing the 1st display of a captured Nazi submarine, gifted from a high ranking member of the US military. A U-505 was sent to Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, IL for permanent display. Unfolds to a full measurement of 12x18", each individual "page" measures 6x9", meant to be read like a menu. Very good condition, no apparent foxing, tearing, or toning besides for 3 possible adhesive residue marks about .75" long and .5" thick on the cover. See photo.
