Small (1 1/8") facsimile silver ingot from Colorado suspended from the head of a cow. "1892 ounces. .925 fine". Very unusual. This badge may easily be from the first year of the Columbian Exposition, sold at the Colorado building. As a silver piece, it may have commemorated Leadville, perhaps the largest silver producing region in America at the time. Very rare, this is the first we've seen.

City: Leadville(?)
State: Colorado,
Date: c.1892
