The Fairmont & Mannington Railroad was a trolley line controlled by the Monongahela Valley Traction Company. The F&M rail line extended northwestward across the divide from Fairmont, WV to Buffalo Creek at Barrackville, WV; thence westward along the south bank of the latter stream to Mannington, WV, a total distance of 17 miles.
