The Anaconda Extension Gold Mining Company operated in the Cripple Creek district. The company held the Fairview patented claim on Gold Hill, totaling 7 acres. For some reason, the company decided to change it's name in 1900 by filing this document with the Colorado Secretary of State. The company changed it's name to the Starr King Gold Mining Company. This fancy document is for the name change with a large silver Colorado seal, revenue stamp and purple ribbon. Four pages in total. Very nice condition and an unusual piece!
