This bell and Hoyt volt-ammeter came from the reportedly Central Station in downtown Reno. The volt-ammeter seems to be c1930's. Dial-up telephone service reached Central Station in 1929 giving credence to this time period. The station was located on the corner of West and Commercial Streets. Since the bell is of small size, it was probably located in the commander's office. This fire ball was purchased in Reno from an old gentleman who reported he took it when the downtown fire building was being demolished. Includes background information.
