First National Bank of Tucson bank check #1598 dated Dec. 5th 1882 for $11.88 payable to Michailitschki Bros. Black on yellow. Nice vignette of three miners examining ore. Signed by B. M. Jacobs, Cashier. RN-G1 imprinted revenue. P. K. Tully was President and the bank had a branch in Tombstone. Also printed on the check is "to Pacific Bank, San Francisco, Cal., which is listed as one of its correspondent banks. [City Directory, Tucson 1881] Very Fine. Lionel and Barron M. Jacobs arrived in Tucson in 1867 to open a general store. In 1879, they established the Pima County Bank in Tucson with Barron Jacobs as cashier.
