1) "The Story of Manitou." Thirteenth edition, three hundred thousand. Copyright by S. K. Hooper, General Passenger Agent, Denver & Rio Grande R. R., 1895. Published under the auspices of the General Passenger Agent, Denver & Rio Grande R. R., and the Town of Manitou. Dark brown cover with gold and white design and type, back cover has image of an Indian in gold and white; cover is loose from binding, used. From the title page, a poem: "Here dwelt the red man, ere the cry, Of "gold!" among these hills was heard, Here towered the mountains to the sky, And here the healing fountains pour'd. Before the white Man's foot had trod, This sacred valley in the West, The Savage took the gift from God, And named it, "Manitou, the Bles't." (8" x 6") 64 pp. 2) "The Crystal Park Auto Trip , Manitou, Colorado". Souvenir of a trip with two photos--one of a tour car going up the road to Crystal Peak, and the other of a group of people standing outside the touring car inside the fold-out. From text on back side: Crystal Park is one of the most beautiful and picturesque natural mountain peaks to be found in the Pike's Peak Region." Black with gold lettering. (6" x 7.25") 28 pp. Dark red cover with 3 photos of buildings glued on.
