All measure about 7 x 4 1/2". 1) Denver & Rio Grande Railway trestle near Chalk Ranch. Early (?) W. H Jackson photo. 2) Another Jackson photo. Shows an engine coming up a hillside toward a siding (or the engine was on the siding). The engine is stopped (men are standing around it) and other men seem to be waiting for a lift. 3) Illustration from a W. H. Jackson photo. (At least this was published by Jackson.) Identified as the Phantom Curve on the Denver & Rio Grand Railroad. 4) Switchback on the P. P. Carriage Road. Colorado Midland Railroad. W. Ira Rudy, photographer, Colorado Springs. Large ad on back proclaiming,"Views along the Colorado Midland a Specialty," Stamped Fred P.Horn, Lapidist (cuts, polishes, and engraves precious stones), Colorado Springs. Bottom right is torn off, but does not affect the photo. 5) W. H. Lawrence photo of a snow shed in the Rockies at Marshall Pass. Back is stamped Barkalow Brothers, Denver, R. R. News Agency.
