Lot of five. 1-2) Two covers with Scott #114 three cent pictorial locomotive blue stamps. These were first put into use in 1869. 3-4) Two earlier (c1864) double circle post marks. One to George Yontz (?) of Thompsonville, Wisconsin. The author is in the United States Army and is stationed near Rolla at this time. He has only a little picket duty, but expects they will move on soon. "I am in hopes we will go further south the next move we make, then we still stand a chance of seeing some fighting."
