Lockhart. Lockhart had come to Goldfield in 1903 after selling mining property in Tonopah. The Florence Group was leased to Wingfield and Nixon and was where they made their first money in mining. The company also erected the Florence Mill in which began operation in 1909 and burned down in 1911. 1) Three different issued stocks. a) No. 6068, issued in 1908 for 100 shares. Signed by TG Lockhart as president. Not cancelled. Gilt border and multiple mining vignettes. b) No. A10391, issued for 100 shares in 1925. Not cancelled. Ornate border. c) No. B4174, issued in 19287 for 1,000 shares. Not cancelled. Same design as b. with different colors. 2) Two John S. Cook & Co. checks issued by the receiver for the company in 1917.
