This beautiful piece of fire-fighting history is an original Foamite Fire Extinguisher, Model CA, approx. 24-inches tall and 7-inches in diameter. All the parts appear to be present: the top cap easily unscrews to reveal the cartridge frame inside, and the rubber hose on the side is intact with its metal nozzle. The copper-tone cylinder is mildly corroded, but there are no large dents or perforations anywhere on this item. The original embossed brass label is still firmly affixed to the side and all the lettering is clearly legible. Much of the original green and red paint on the label is still present. This lot also includes a Martin Ware galvanized steel laundry tub, approx. 13 x 13 x 23.5 inches without the handles and 29 inches long including the steel-mounted wooden handles. About 80 percent of the original label is still visible on the tub. The lid with its wooden handle is dented but still fits into the top of the tub. These are beautiful display pieces, and they were probably salvaged from a Utah underground mine. Included as a bonus is a dark blue glazed earthenware teapot with a traces of a feathery gold floral pattern. Intact with a very minor chip at the spout and about a 1/2-inch deglazing on the lip of the included lid. Lastly is a one-quart glass motor oil dispenser by the Master Mfg. Co. of Litchfield, Illinois. Diameter is approx. 3-3/4 inches and the total height with the included metal funnel is almost 14 inches. Still has some of the last oil in the bottom, but should clean up nicely if desired. Utah
