A copper weather vane depicting a Native American brave shooting a bow, c. early 20th century. The brave is a full-body piece; he is depicted wearing a feathered headdress and a wide belt. The weathervane's compass is intact. Both the compass and the pole that the brave is mounted on appear to be made of brass. The piece is in good condition, with some wear and bending on the arrowhead and exposed welded seams. A great example of Americana folk-art aesthetics -- this piece would be an excellent addition to any collection. See photos.
