This Riker box contains finds from Fort Abraham Lincoln near present day Bismarck, North Dakota occupied 1872-1881. There are eighteen items; two small pottery chards; medium sized flint, four army uniform eagle buttons made by Waterbury Button & Co. and two early design buttons without markings; two .50-70 cal. cartridges Bennet primed; two .45 cal. slugs with wide grease grooves; two spike nails; a light duty brass clasp; a metal hook late manufacture phosphate plated; and a leather strap loop.
