This lot contains a number of objects collected from Fort Fettering in Wyoming. Center is an eagle hat badge 1870's, two friction primer pins that were lanyard pulled to fire a mountain howitzer cannon, a .38 cal. rimfire cartridge complete (this is an unusual find since .45 cal. was military issue at that time), six .45-70 Benet primed spent cartridges from the Frankford arsenal 1873-1882 vintage, one wide band .45 cal. rifle bullet, one .50 cal. bullet, and a .45 cal. conical shaped pistol pullet.
