Condition: very good condition. Reverse has stamp from bookstore in S.F. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began work on Fort Point in 1853. On October 16, 1970, Nixon signed a bill making Fort Point a National Historic Site. Carleton Watkins (1829-1916) was a very famous early western photographer.
