Black print on cardstock. 2) Fort Smith & Western RR Co. / St. Louis, El Reno & Western Railway Co. Pass no. 1371, issued to CE Griggs, ATSF. Printed signature of general manager Wm. Bushnell. Countersigned by EF Glutensohn. Endorsed. Black print on yellow cardstock. The railroad's main line extended 197 miles from Coal Creek, Oklahoma to Guthrie, Oklahoma, with 20 miles of track over the Kansas City Southern Railway between Fort Smith, Arkansas and Coal Creek. The Fort Smith and Western owned a subsidiary, St. Louis, El Reno and Western Railway, which began operating 42 miles between Guthrie and El Reno, Oklahoma in June 1904.
