Seven unissued certificates from The Fort Wayne Rink Association (IA). The certificates would have been issued at Fort Wayne, Indiana in the 1870's. The Fort Wayne Rink Association, for many years known as "The Rink" was erected in 1869. A substantial brick building of 60' x 150' was built on the north side of Berry Street, the site of the Lincoln Life building and could accommidate up to 500 skaters. For several seasons, the rink attracted many of America's leading professional ice skaters (The Pictorial History of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Griswold & Taylor). The certificates do not have a vignette.
