Lot of 2. 1. Fort Worth Tex. police officer badge #2, badge is yellow metal and the #2 is wht metal. Circa 1891 was the beginning of numbered badges for Fort Worth. Prior to this date they were not numbered. Marshal James Maddon is credited for this, issuing was based on seniority. This style of badge with the eagle was used until the 1910’s and replaced with the Texas Wildcat. In excellent cond and a very rare find. 2. Sixth plate ambrotype framed photo in leather case of a police sergeant with what appears to be the same badge style. Very good cond. There is a possibility this may be a reproduction. [ 1891
