4 A.D. Simmons hutch bottles. 3 different compositions of glass.
1.A.D. SIMMONS/DENVER,COLO. Light purple, 7 1/2" tall. Wiped top. Pictorial flying eagle in
front center of bottle. Fluted base. Significant interior stain. Heavy case wear on exterior, but no obvious cracks or chips in the glass. Preble S148a
2. A.D.SIMMONS/DENVER,COLO. Grey Flint in color, 7 1/2" tall. Wiped top. Pictorial flying eagle in the front center of the bottle. Fluted base. Light haze in the interior. A patch of scratches on front of bottle just below right shoulder. One bubble very near the surface in the back, but has not opened, Other wise there are no noticeable chips, cracks or dings. Preble S148a
3. A.D. SIMMONS/DENVER/COLO. Yellowish glass, 7 1/2" tall. Wiped top. Pictorial flying eagle in front center of bottle. Light exterior stain and one small ding on one of the fluted ribs. Otherwise bottle appears to be free of defects. Circa - 1901-1906 per Preble. Preble S148
4. A.D.SIMMONS/DENVER,COLO. Aqua, 7 1/2" tall. Applied top, Fluted base. Standing, spread-wing eagle monogrammed on the reverse. Significant exterior stain over the entire bottle. One pinhead size ding on one of the fluted ribs at the base, One surface potstone with 1/8" radiated flashes. Believe t his bottle would respond well to a cleaning. According to Preble, c.1900. Preble S147.
