Issued by The Four Aces Mining Company, in Nevada's Bullfrog Mining District, 100 shares at $1 per to J. Eyerman and signed by G.W. Murray, secretary and Hartmann Freeland (sp), president. Vignette features four playing card aces. It is dated September 25, 1906. Please see photos for more detail and condition. FH argues that this company was purely an exploration play. The vignette was meant to sell the stock by creating a sense in the buyer that the company was a winner. What actually happened on the property? It is now a prospect pit near Pioneer that is 6ft. deep and 10 feet in diameter. According to a Sept. 16, 1905 issue of the United States Investor, the company owned two full claims on Montgomery Mountain adjoining the Schwab-McKane property and near the famous Montgomery-Shoshone.
