One of the best and most sought-after Bullfrog stock certificates! Mines located at Bullfrog Mining District, Nevada (printed along the top border). Inc. in Arizona. No. 928, issued for 100 shares to Joseph Heneault on March 7th, 1906. Signed by the vice-president E.W. Griffith and G.W. Murray, secretary. Not cancelled. Maroon border and fantastic vignette of a hand showing four aces. Pinholes, folds, toning. 8 x 11" FH argues that this company was purely an exploration play. The vignette was meant to sell the stock by creating a sense in the buyer that the company was a winner. What actually happened on the property? It is now a prospect pit near Pioneer that is 6ft. deep and 10 feet in diameter. According to a Sept. 16, 1905 issue of the United States Investor, the company owned two full claims on Montgomery Mountain adjoining the Schwab-McKane property and near the famous Montgomery-Shoshone.
