Three nice Tonopah pieces. 1) Tonopah 1918 with C&F Bar cc. Carl Fuetsch proprietor. Biography included. 2) 1921. Very nice strike. Corner Cover of E. P. Cullinan. He demonstrated a way for one miner to carry two stricken co-workers out of a mine. It became known in national magazines as the Nevada Two-Man Carry. He developed a pre-sonar technique to protect America's eastern shores from attack in World War I. The Navy was ready to purchase his product when the war ended. There's more! 2) Tonopah 1922 with Pioneer Dairy cc. John Du Pratt proprietor. He was an Italian immigrant, Tonopah businessman, Reno meat market man and sponsored Reno’s premier 1947-50 softball team. 3) C & F Bar with E. Fuetsch (owner of Big Chief Mine in Clear Creek, Goldfield saloon owner) as proprietor. 1918. 4) Tonopah 1907 with Wells Fargo Express rates for express money orders on reverse.
